Bridal Veil Falls State Park is located near milepost 28 on the Historic Columbia River Scenic Highway and is accessed off I-84 at Exit 28. Travel west on the Historic Columbia River Highway about 3/4 of a mile to the entrance of Bridal Veil Falls State Park. The park offers a nice parking area, picnic tables and restrooms all within easy walking distance from the parking area. Nice grassy areas afford visitors a chance to stretch a blanket in one of the laziest parts of the Columbia River Gorge
Rating of 3 our of 10, relatively easy to hike. One I would recommend for weekend warriors, great for Instagram and FB.
Route to an overlook...
While you are here, mind as well....
Hard to photogenically do justice for this water fall, it is too massive and close proximity. It's one of those you either find it to revisit or you'll see it once and never see it again. I think when no one is around, you'd like this water fall, sitting on that big rock, allows you to think. July-September are the best times to visit, when the water is calmer. Explore, there are great nature to be seen.
